Google has unveiled yet another smart device in its inaugural speech for the Google I / O 2019 conference. This is Google Nest Hub Max, a smart screen with a strong integration of the Google Assistant digital assistant.
Google Nest Hub Max features a 1280 x 800 resolution 10'' screen, a 6.5MP camera with a 127 ° lens, a speaker system with 2x 18mm tweeters 10W and 1x 30W subwoofer, microphones, light sensor, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and built-in Chromecast.
For his camera, Nest Hub Max can recognize the user's gestures to perform various actions such as pausing content playback. Voice Match Voice Match also adds Face Match, with the device recognizing each user's face individually and this information is stored and processed only on the device.
As soon as the user approaches Nest Hub Max, the camera will recognize him to display personal information that will not be available to another user. To understand that the camera is in operation, a green light is placed next to it and nothing will be recorded or played unless the user has given his consent. In addition, there is a separate button that you press to turn off both the camera and the microphone.
Google Nest Hub Max will be released in the summer at $ 229 in the US.
